About PassageGrid Press

PassageGrid Press is an independent publishing imprint founded by author Zane Zha.

We publish nonfiction that explores China through practical knowledge, firsthand perspectives, and the details of everyday life.

Our books and articles cover two connected areas.

China Procurement & Supply Chains

Practical guidance on supplier verification, sourcing, quality control, procurement decisions, and the realities of working with Chinese manufacturers.

Everyday China

Thoughtful explorations of ordinary life in modern China—beyond headlines, stereotypes, and familiar narratives.

Our goal is to help international readers develop a clearer, more grounded understanding of China, whether they are working with Chinese suppliers or simply curious about the country and its people.
